Tribute To Ginger Ginger was a very special cat. She lived to be almost 17 years old. For her whole life, she was my best friend. She would always be there for me. She was a special part of my life, and even though it's been 4 1/2 years since she crossed the rainbow bridge, I still think of her often. I still have her picture in my wallet, it brings back the memories that are so dear to me. She was the runt of the litter, so it was fitting that she would end up with me. I have always been partial to others who are less fortunate than I, and this, of course, includes animals. I have a very soft heart where they are concerned and am glad that it was me who got to be a part of Ginger's life. I know other animal lovers will understand this tribute. It's very hard to lose a member of the family, and indeed, she was a very, very special member of the family. She helped me through rough times that would've been impossible to get through without her. Even though she was just her wonderful, purring self. Even though I'm writing this page with a heavy heart, I know someday we will be together again. Until that day comes, I hope
that she is happy in heaven.
