I lived with a man for 25 years who "mentally abused" me. He never approved of anything I did or said. He would disagree with everything I said, usually after drinking. I could never do anything right. He trampled on my self- esteem until there was none left. I learned to keep my mouth shut and to stay out of his way. Then, I met my Angel, Steve. He gave me the courage to look deep inside myself, and to gather the strength I had all along, to do something about my situation. So, I did! You can too! It's your life!
