Hmm...you wanted to know!

Let's see if I can describe myself. Maybe you are better of asking one of my friends. Or, being one, you still don't know me. Ok, fair enough.

I'll tell you the basics, I live in Canada, I'm female, my name is spelled J-A-Y-L-E-N-E. I'm from Scottish heritage, my family is all in Nova Scotia, so I guess you uneducated people would call me a 'newfie'. I'm not against any sort of heritage, or bias in any way like some people. I don't judge people by their looks, though sometimes first impressions can be important.

My friends are truly great people. Some I admire more than others, yet some don't realize how much I appreciate and care for them. Myself, I love the feeling that someone cares for you...just like my what my sign says. (I'm a Leo). I'm a very warm person, I love affection and I always try to give out some as well.

Things I hate...I dislike being singled out and attacked from anyone. I hate to see suffering. I do not like how life has taught us that our inner beauty is ugly, and we have to cover it up with an assortment of products.

Music is a great chunk of my life, though I don't think I'm going to pursue an education in it. I love playing the baritone (It's a mini tuba if you will). I accept any types of music, except I (this is hypocritical) don't like pop music just because sometimes the singers don't compose their songs, or take songs from previous singers and give no recongition. Example: Jessica Simpson in one of her songs, I forget what it is called, her melody is from John Cougar Mellencamp's 'Jack and Diane' yet this singer steals it and says nothing about Mellencamp. Sure, you might say that it doesn't matter about who wrote the song, it's all about the music. But for me, I appreciate those local talents who compose and create their own music. To me, they are better than those famous pop artists.

What else...I enjoy getting out into the world, playing sports and such. Even though on accounts I'm lazy, it's usually because I have no energy left. Purple Monkey Dishwasher....that's about it for now.

Oh yeah...are you pondering why it's Jaybalene's domain? Did you think I spelled my name wrong? Actually, the nick name comes from the Maybelline commerical...the make-up one. You know the slogan, Maybe she's born with it. Maybe it's Maybelline.Well someone one day came up with Maybe it's Jaybalene

...well, I find it funny
