In 2008 I visited three new US states (New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine) and two new cities (Boston and Montreal). It was an interesting cultural blend with both the patriotic New England states, and proud French tradition of Montreal. One area has its roots in revolution and new beginnings, the other holds fast to the past and where it came from.
Sandcastles
My castle (left) featured sculpted walls, lookout towers, a citadel, outer wall, and break barrier. Powerful forces of nature caused it to need rebuilding after a flood was unleased from a wave pool. Dad's castle (center) featured a dribble tower. Spencer's (right) featured impregnable walls, tower, ordered homes, and main bridge.
