In 2008 I visited three new US states (New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine) and two new cities (Boston and Montreal). It was an interesting cultural blend with both the patriotic New England states, and proud French tradition of Montreal. One area has its roots in revolution and new beginnings, the other holds fast to the past and where it came from.
Foggy Atlantic
The small towns of Maine were very foggy that morning. We hit the beach, bought some books, traveled along the coast, and ate at a local lobster house.
