Jonathan

Percussion
Marching Band
Indoor Guard Floor Crew

These are the organizations
that come to mind when I think of him

Drum heads
Pearl vs. Yamaha
He knows the subtle differences
not to mention the exact prices
Definately a walking percussion catalog!

Drumline is part of Marching Band
Playing his tenors away
he taps off pregame
keeps his section in check
and then takes a moment to drool
over the colorguard dancing in front of him

During the winter
there's no other place for him
than working the floor crew
for the indoor guard
I wonder if it has anything to do
with the group of girls
he gets to watch
for months on end
without getting yelled at for herassment

But you gotta love him
He's perfectly harmless
After all, he's preoccupied
with his tenors and percussion tech class

Okay, so I can make fun of Jonathan in the above poem. After all, I've known him since they called him "crispy critter" when he was a high school freshman at Glasgow High School. I'm practically his sister...since we share family members and all. His sister Lauren is my "guard sister." Jon is definately a great guy. I'm really glad he worked with Glasgow's marching band this year. I really needed someone there to whom I could vent all my feelings to. He's a great friend. I really enjoy our breakfasts at Eagle Diner, our lunches at Grotto's Pizza, and our Dinners at Chili's Bar and Grill. Going out to get food is one of our favorite passtimes. Even though we had to settle for chilling at guard events this past semester. But, now that I think of it, Jon never complained that he was hanging out with the Visual Arts Production Company. He seemed pretty happy looking back at the last five months. I wonder why that is? Hmmmmm........
