The 1994 "Labrynth Winter Ensemble" was the first Glasgow High School Indoor Guard. Under the instruction of Valerie Greer, Bonnie Bowman and Theresa Spinneli, the guard performed their interpretation of Enya's hit from the movie "Far and Away." Guard Captains for the 1994 season were Seniors Heather Buchanan and Judy Hendricks. The uniform consisted of an ivory blouse and black pants. The members spun primarily flag, and there was also a small sabre line. Labrynth Winter Ensemble was successful in getting Glasgow High School's indoor guard program started. Because of the hard work and dedication of the marching members, staff, and boosters the guard was able to construct a solid foundation in which the program could build upon.

Labrynth Winter Ensembe took a year off in 1995 and resumed competition in the winter of 1996. The guard was under the instruction of Andrea Madic, a former graduate of Glasgow High School and a previous member of Labrynth. The 1996 show was performed to the Star Trek: The Next Generation's theme song. Guard Captains in 1996 included seniors Christy Dilts and Mary Pierce along with Sophmore co-captain Kristi Ewing. Members wore marroon dresses, with the exception of the single male member who wore marroon pants and a black dress shirt. The guard had the opportunity to spin flags, rifles and sabres in 1996. Flag work was primarily written by Andrea Madic. Rifle work was written by Christy Dilts. Sabre was designed by Mary Pierce. Again, without the cooperation of Joe Lofland, Glasgow High School's Band Director, the boosters, the staff, and the marching members, the indoor guard would've never run as smoothly. The guard's skill level as well as interest level was on an upward trend. The outlook was good for the future of Glasgow's guard program.

Labrynth Winter Ensemble's staff went though yet another transitional stage prior to the 1997 winter guard season. Now under the instruction of Nicole Bailey and Debbie Bernard, the guard's flag skills were extremely challenged. The 1997 compilation of popular 60's tunes grabbed the audience's attention. The style was definately a dramatic change from previous styles. Guard Captains in 1997 were Junior Kristi Ewing and sophmore Jennifer Zappo. Members wore camouflage uniforms of their choice and spun flag, rifle, and sabre. This was the first season in Glasgow history that the guard had a separate instructor to teach the weapons. Until the arrival of Debbie Bernard, students were writing all the weapon work. This year was also the first year that the guard was privileged enough to have back drops. Joseph Zappo did a wonderful job constructing bunkers covered with sand bags and camouflage panels. Again, without the support of the parental staff and the boosters, the program wouldn't have been flourishing as visually as they were in 1997.

1998 brought yet another change to Glasgow High School's instructional staff as well as a style change. Labrynth Winter Ensemble, now under the instruction of Mary Pierce and Tracy Miller perfromed their show to a pair of Squirrel Nut Zippers tunes. The show started out with "Got my Own Thing Now" and ended with "Hell." The setting was a nightclub entitled "The afterlife" where everyone went to let loose to the jazzy music that played there every night of the week. Guard Captains in 1998 were Senior Kristi Ewing and Juniors Lauren Tracy and Jennifer Zappo. The uniforns consisted of anything black that the memebers felt comfortable wearing and red accents. The visual consultant for "The Afterlife" uniforms was Cindy Griffith. Prop designer was Joseph Zappo. Props included a 6 foot bar and purple panels. This year was the first year in which the guard started to set a universal technique. Tracy Miller, who primarily wrote weapon work in 1998, introduced a new idea to Glasgow Indoor...an ensemble sabre feature. Every member of the guard had the opportunity to get aquainted with a sabre at some point during the show.
