This translates into a 40% increase in net premium earnings. The growth in premiums was due to increases in both first year and renewal businesses, with the individual and group businesses growing by 35% and 18% respectively. In 1997, it entered into a strategic partnership with the Reinsurance Group of America (RGA) to establish a new distribution system for the companies' products. |
