This is the part of the page where you shall find out how I relate to transistor sound & lighting co... so sit back and enjoy boys and girls.
How did I find out about transistor? Well, as I have mentioned before, I can't say that I've always been there from the start. I kinda liked them for a while, but when they had the video out for Anyways/Mayonaise it just made me sit up and say "YOW!" It just blew me away. So a while after that, they started playing more shows around Winnipeg and released their first major label CD on ViK/BMG and of course, I ran out and bought it.
The first time I saw transistor was in June '97 playing in the in-store with treble charger. I thought they were pretty good and Bob the BMG guy gave me a poster. But that day, I was too pre-occupied with TC to really sit down and just listen to them.
Like treble charger, I am also the ViK/BMG street soldier for transistor since they are on the same label.
I have seen transistor about 5 times now and each is still really enjoyable cos they RAWK.
Jay and Dino have both shown interest in our school's radio station that me and my friend Jenn started and were going to play in our theatre but they had an interview for Stylus that day. They however, still want to come for an interview and maybe a "transistor bbq" sometime this year.
