IMPORTANT
I could NOT make this game work on redrival (the host of this site), I tried it on angelfire, my earlier host, and it did actually work. I'm really sorry about the annoying banner(!).

Story
After Zio and the Profound Darkness was destroyed, Zio's guards and priests reconstructed him, now, it's payback!
Zio has captured Chaz and taken him to his Landscape. CHaz got to find a way out of there... there is also one other problem, when the gruards and priests recreated Zio, they had some problem with his head, so it keeps falling of (hehe...).

Instruction
- Sound:
- Click on the button on the bottom of the applet.
- Click on the small Chaz icon in bottom right
hand corner.
- (The sounds really slow up the game, so the default
is OFF. If anyone knows of a good address about working with sound files
in Java please e-mail me.)
- Controls:
- (Make sure Num-Lock is on.)
- 8 = move Chaz up & left.
- 9 = move Chaz up & right.
- 5 = move Chaz down & left.
- 6 = move Chaz down & right.
- Enemies:
- Green Ball: Stomp on to pause enemies.
- Red Ball: If touched Chaz will lose a life.
- Dark Ball/Zio: If touched Chaz will lose
a life.
- Sliding guy/Death drink: If touched Chaz will lose a
life.
- Gi-Le-Farg and friend: Stomp on to get rid of them.
- Bonus Lives:
- First bonus life at 8,000 points.
- Each additional life at increments of 18,000
points.
- Level Progression:
- S = Starting color
- M = Middle color
- Ct = "Change To" color
- Level 1 When Chaz
jumps on S, it changes to Ct. When he jumps on Ct, it stays at Ct.
- Level 2 When Chaz
jumps on S, it changes to M. When he jumps on M, it changes to Ct. When
he jumps on Ct, it stays at Ct.
- Level 3 When Chaz
jumps on S, it changes to Ct. When he jumps on Ct, it changes back to S.
- Level 4 When Chaz
jumps on S, it changes to M. When he jumps on M, it changes to Ct. When
he jumps on Ct, it changes back to M.
- Level 5 and above
When Chaz jumps on S, it changes to M. When he jumps on M, it changes
to Ct. When he jumps on Ct, it changes back to S.

If you already havn't discovered, the real idea of this game is from Q-bert released for 8 bit Nintendo, now I've created a better grafic Phantasy Star related verson of it, in a java applet, enjoy. I want to thank Frank Galligen for the help.
