The current UTC time is

Most stations around the world use UTC or Co-ordinated Universal Time. This is also known as Greenwich Mean Time or GMT and as Zulu Time. This is a 24 hour clock that is a way for all radio stations and listeners around the world to know what time is being used. Remember that the day of the week and date will change at 0000 UTC, so adjust your records. The chart below will show the UTC for the major time zones in North America.
UTC to local standard time conversion (Winter)

The * means that the UTC date is one day later than the local date.

TIME CONVERSION CHART

Standard/Normal Time and Summer Time

GMT=UTC(Coordinated Universal Time)

Because audiences are all over the world, international broadcasters require a common time reference. Most use the 24-hour clock of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), adopted by the International Telecommunication Union in 1979. In practice, UTC is the same as Greenwich Mean Time. Use the table below to convert from UTC to your local standard/normal and summer times.
