Who is Long Tall Sally?
Hi! I'm Long Tall
Sally, and I'm delighted to be here. (Well, my real name is Laura,
but you know how it is.) I'm a teenager from the midwest, and
I'm out to make a name for myself. I sing and compose songs and
their lyrics. I also write a great deal of poems, short stories,
and I am also writing some books (which would be done were it
not for the element of procrastination!). I became interested
in the Beatles when I was a small child, but I wasn't a die-hard
fan until a few years ago. The Beatles are the only band I've
found that, out of all their songs, I can't find one I remotely
dislike. They have influenced most of the forms of popular music
now simply because they explored new things and played music that
they wanted to play. They are the spirit that I try to bring out
in my music.
In honor of that, this page is dedicated
to the Beatles. You will find their songs here, as well
as their pictures and some stories I made up about them. This
is where I hope to make them come alive. I hope you'll enjoy the
show!
