Philip McCarty, Jr., 91 of
Milford, PA, passed away on
December 30,
2016 at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, NJ. Philip was a
retired Postal Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, Milford, PA,
farmer, carpenter, and owned and
operated Pronto Perk, Milford, PA and
was employed by Calan Inc.
He was a past member of the Airplane
Owners and Pilots Association, member of the Matamoras Rod and Gun
Club, Matamoras, PA, the National Rifle Association, the Marsch
Kellogg American Legion Post # 139, Milford, PA and a U.S. Navy
Airforce World War II Veteran.
The son of the late
Philip and Christina V. (Raven) McCarty, Sr., he was born on
May 16, 1925 in Port Jervis, NY. He
was married to Thelma Devereaux.
Philip is survived by his wife; son,
Robert Paul McCarty of East Berne, NY; daughter, Dianne Lyn Brink of
Milford, PA; four grandsons and four great grandchildren. Philip was
predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Peter McCarty.

Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 10 to
11 a.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on
Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11 a.m.
with Rev. Luana Cook Scott officiating. Interment will follow at the
Milford Cemetery, Dingman Twp., PA.
