The sun newspaper has had a webchat. You can read it here.
Girls Aloud order Sarah's Boyfriend To Chop It (One.Tel)
Girls Aloud have said they've ordered
Sarah's boyfriend, Mikey Green, to cut his hair.
Anyone who's seen the chappy's towering 'do will know that it defies gravity and
is by far the tallest hair in pop!
But the girls have had enough of straining their necks to admire his creation
and have told him that he has to have it lopped off!
"Yes, we've told him it's too long," the ever-smiling Kimberley told us, "so
he's gonna get it chopped off, isn't he girls?"
However, devoted Sarah's standing by her man and said, "He likes to do different
things. He can do what he wants with his hair!"
Mikey, who met Sarah when he appeared on Popstars: The Rivals last year, has
teamed-up with the other lucky fellas who didn't make One True Voice to form
Phixx. They've just signed to Polydor and hope to release a single in the
autumn!
Girls Aloud's fab single, Life Got Cold, is out now!
Life Got Cold Midweeks (GA International)
Life Got Cold's midweeks are #3. Everybody who hasn't bought it now, BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!
CHERYL IS BACK!!!!! (GA International)
YAY! lol! Umm...ya she's back and ready to perform lol!
Who I Think Will Replace Cheryl's Parts (GA International)
This isn't really news but I didn't know where to put it, and I wanted to express what I think. If you think different and you want your opinion put on this site, email me at thechrisdude@hotmail.com Please just do the songs I have listed here:
Sound of the Underground:
Beats are pumping on my stereo, neighbours banging on the bathroom wall, something funny's going on inside my mind - Nicola
Where the bassline jumps in the backstreet light - Sarah
No Good Advice:
Mama said remember you're a lady think before you play and straighten your curls, well everybody's talking like I'm crazy dangerous and lazy girl with no soul, everybody's talking like i'm only just another phony girl who got play (with Nadine) - Sarah
I don't need no good advice, no need to count those dirty sheep - Nadine
Girls Allowed:
I don't like the kinda guy who tells you that he loves you for the sake in the heat of a one night stand - Kimberley or Nicola (not sure about that one)
Oooh if I wanna ya know that I'll get some, if i wanna ya know that i'll taste some - Sarah
Mars Attack:
Switch me on now start me up, Tastes so good so delicious, dancing to the sound bug (with Sarah) - Nadine
Girls Aloud - G.A.Y. (GA International)
The girls performed on GAY on Saturday, and I read about this somewhere, but I'll put it in my own words. The girls had a theme of black and red for their costumes. They came out with Girls On Film, then No Good Advice, Life Got Cold, Girls Allowed and Sound of the Underground. The reception was great and it sounds like a great show!
Girls Aloud - CD:UK (GA International)
The girls performed on CD:UK on Saturday, and they performed Life Got Cold (live) and Girls On Film (mimed). Here are my observations of the performances:
*the girls looked REALLY weird without Cheryl (lol)
*Kimberley mimed this one part but it was Cheryl's voice in Girls On Film
Which girls sang Cheryl's parts:
We smoke as we choke as we sink another coke and we grin when it blows our mind - Kimberley
so take it day by day - Nadine
I don't believe in romeos or heroes anymore - Nadine
we flirt while we work to forget about the hurt and the trash that we left behind - Sarah
take it day by day (extra part added when the girls perform it live, right at the end of the song) - Sarah
Nicola's Showbiz Life (Heat Magazine)
What's the most money you've ever
blown in a single day?
I bought three picture mobile phones - one for me, one for my boyfriend and one
for my little sister. That cost me two grand.
When was the last time you used your celebrity
status to get something?
When we go to clubs I just call up and say, "It's Nicola, can you put us on the
guest list?"
Have you ever been to the Met Bar?
No, but I go to Click with Cheryl quite a bit.
What's your best tip for posing with
photographers?
I don't think I'm very photogenic but I'd say just give them a nice smile and be
natural.
Have you ever snogged a fan?
No, but I do get loads of lads coming up to me trying to chat me up. It's a huge
compliment but when they get too heavy you just want to shout, "That's my
boyfriend over there!"
Name a famous person you've snogged.
I haven't. I've been going out with my boyfriend Carl for a year and a half.
Name a famous person you've
argued with.
Matt from Busted did call me a rude ginger b!tch in an interview but I didn't
say anything to him the next time I saw him. There are no hard feelings between
us.
When were you last at another celeb's house and
what was it like?
It was at Nadine and Kimberley's flat as it's just round the corner from
Cheryl's and mine. They've got a really big flashy lamp in the corner of their
sitting room that's just gorgeous.
What's the best present you've ever received
from another celeb?
Darius bought us a big bottle of champagne along with a card for the release of
our album.
Who's the most boring celeb you've ever met?
Dannii Minogue. She doesn't talk to anyone at all, she just walks around with
her nose in her wig!
Tell us a secret about another star.
Cheryl Tweedy's got a massive tattoo that runs round her thigh and a big
butterfly on her back.
Finally, what's the best thing about being a
celebrity?
Being able to do exactly what you've always wanted to do and having fun meeting
other famous people. I still ring my mates and say, "You'll never guess who I've
just met!" We met Robbie Williams in Amsterdam and I was just like, "Oh. My.
God."
(thanx to Steveweiser)
Sarah Takes On Kiss N' Tellers (15/8) (One.Tel)
These days the tabloids are full of
saucy kiss 'n tell stories about some pop star or other, which, we guess, must
add to the pressure of being a celeb.
Of course, if the tales of passion are favorable then it's all good for the pop
star 'cos it makes 'em look like sexual dynamos. But what about those of 'em who
get described as big old damp squibs (you know who they are). They must be well
gutted.
So, when pop stars do get all saucy, do they make that extra bit of effort when
it comes to, er, entertaining just in case the other half decides to spill their
load in the press?
Well, we put that burning question to the lovely Sarah Harding from Girls Aloud
- who's no stranger to kiss 'n tell exposés herself - who she told us: "I could
not care less about what they think or how well they think I perform. And if
they do sell their story, then they're not worth it. When you get stuff in the
press like that you just deal with it. The first time it happened to me I was a
bit 'devo'ed'. Now it's like 'whatever'! These days, I don't believe anything I
read. It's usually only about one per cent of it that's true anyway! Usually,
just my name!"
Sarah also admits that the amount of lies that gets into the press took her by
surprise. "When we first started out I was surprised that so much rubbish could
be written and that people could get away with it," she told us. "But if we
tried to do something about it, then we'd probably only just get a tiny apology
on page 38, so it's not even worth trying to do anything about it. So now we
just laugh it off. At the end of the day the people selling stories are putting
themselves out there and looking stupid. The papers are doing they're job. They
love one minute, hate you the next. There's nothing you can do about it!"
Well, we love ya Girls Aloud and we love your new single, Life Got Cold, even
more. It's released on August 18 and features their cover of Duran Duran's Girls
On Film.
Cheryl Gets Kidney Infection (Official Forum)
GIRLS ALOUD star
CHERYL TWEEDY spent Wednesday night in hospital after falling ill with a kidney
infection.
Doctors at the North London hospital kept the singer in overnight and she is now
taking medication.
Cheryl, who was later driven to Newcastle to be with her mother, has been forced
to pull out of a series of promotional appearances. The band release their third
single Life Got Cold next Monday.
The Popstars: The Rivals winners are scheduled to perform at London's G-A-Y club
on Saturday night.
Cheryl cannot perform for the next few weeks, the other 4 girls will re-choreograph their dance moves and decide who sings Cheryl's parts.
Nadine Coyle Reveals Steps Dance Shame (NadineCoyle.net)
Nadine from Girls Aloud may want us to
believe she's a cool young fox, but we know different. When asked by TV Hits
which tune would get her out on the dancefloor, she replied: "...the Steps song,
5, 6, 7, 8."Surely, she must be kidding? But nope, Nadine is serious! Deadly
serious!
She revealed:
"When I was a kid we learned the dance steps. We worked on it for weeks so we
could do the moves perfectly at the school disco. It's on video camera too. If
that ever comes to light it would be terrible, really embarrassing."
Life Got Cold, Girls Aloud's new single, is out next Monday.
