Hi there!

Sorry it's been a week since I updated. Busy with school and such. Ah school... such a wonderful word! NOT! OY! It's only been a week at school and I feel like I've been there for a month already! Sheesh! Well actually it's not that horrible, I love my school actually, it's just so rigorous and time consuming. Typical that I have loads of work to do already, ha! And typical of me to rush for perfection at the last moment... aye yi yi! Well anyway the classes are cool though.

Monday and Wednesday I have Acting for Animation and then I have an Audio class. This is actually my "lighter day" as in these classes aren't quite so vigorous, but demending enough I must say.

Tuesday and Thursday I have Life Drawing and Color Theory. OY if ever there was a word! Kinda sucks that both of my more difficult classes are on the same day! Ah well... not much I can do about it.

But yes, the classes are muchbetter then last semster when it was all basic stuff. Well this semester is pretty basic compared to what I have yet to do. AGH! I really can't wait until my 3D studio max classes! Those are gonna be grrrrrrreat! That's when I finally get to ork with professional animation equipment! YEAH!

Actually I've really begun to find an interest in Foley Design. That's where you record miscellaneous sounds for movies and things. Like breaking glass, car engines, weapon sounds...ect! The list goes on and on and on! But I think it would be really neat to get into that! WOO!

But enough about school! As interesting as it is I have to get my mind off it sometime! I guess I could talk a little bit about my story I'm writing over at FanFiction.net... it's a good one I think. It's a "romance" story between SS (you know who that is if you really love him) and my OC (original character) Seda. I am very much in love with this story because of all the intricate details and meanings I weave into the writing. It's such an amazing story really and I hate to classify it as a "romance" because romance is so vague and under rated! I like "r" but there are other qualities.

It's more of a romance/drama/mystery/suspense/spiritual/AND humor story! It's so hard to put it all together and call it one thing but what can I do? Ah well. It's really a touching story about a struggle to understand one's heart while beating the clock for a life that can be taken by heartache and despair. Ah despair... such a strong word but in this story it truly fits. I can' explain it, you'll just have to read my story to find out what I mean. LOL!

"Beautiful New World" ... (A song that represents The Ball)) I just decided to include this music clip because it sounds exactly how I imagine a certain scene in my story.

In the beginning you have Seda getting ready for The Christmas Ball with HG's and GW's help. They are adjusting her gown, doing her hair... and make her look magnificent. Then as the music slows you have Seda seeing herself for the first time, and she's in awe really. Then you come into the scene where she comes down the Grand Staircase, slowly, where SS is waiting for her in the Entrence Hall. Then he notices this beautiful creature gliding towards him down the stairs and he locks his eyes with hers, in amazement. Seda stops on the last step in front of him and he is speechless. Then after a few moments silence they walk into the Great Hall, arm in arm and looking at each other from the corner of their eyes and take their seats as the music fades out.

So yeah! It sounds chessy when I explain it that way but it's so perfect in my head, honest! Gosh I wish I could make a movie of this! It would be so cool! Well erm, anyway......

I hope you enjoy it if you get the chance to read it. It's already at 180,000 words strong and still growing, yikes! But it is a wonderful story, really!

First Day of Winter Term

Hello again!

Well it's Monday morning and today is the first day back after Christmas break. I suppose I am a little happy but then again I'm bummed. The Art Institute is wonderful school, I really love going to school there, it's just that the classes are so rigorous and demanding. Which means that I'm back to 2 to 3 hours of sleep a night and crazy amounts of caffeien to keep me awake while I struggle to finish my projects on time and study for tests. But it's all so much fun if you look beyond that, haha!

Well I always new that choosing my major in Animation and Visual Effects was going to be a tough one. Animation and Game Design (another major) are the MOST competitive fields in the world. That's because it is a huge part of the entertainment industry and there are many many many talented people in that profession and they are all going towards the same jobs. And of course the major animation studios and companies only hire the best so gettinga job is extremely difficult and very competitive.

But it will be rewarding as well. I have always loved the art, writing and illustrating stories, acting, dancing... and now I get to pursue my dreams through my career. I've even considered going to film school after my Bachelors degree because I would very much like to get into directing my own written stories. It would be really neat but that can wait until later on I suppose. For now I'll just be happy to get a job in a studio I'm happy with, preferably Pixar someday.

I'm really looking forward to working on movies with huge special effects and art department needs. I would love to have my name on the credits someday and get a chance to work with directors and meet some of the actors and all that. It would be such a dream but that's a dream I can achieve... I just have to work for it... alot!

Well I'm off for school. I have ot go in early to pick up my new schedule so here I go. Thanx for reading and post at ya later! Toodles!

Well here is my first post ever on my new page... here. I wonder if any one will actually read this *wonders* ah well. If they do... great, if they don't... then I'll just be talking to myself.

I guess I should introduce myself. Of course most of the people who are going to read this are people I know but oh well. Well I'm Steffanie or Steffie for short. I go by my pen name usually which is SteffieSnape ... obviously that is a result from my long time fascination with Snape.

Ah yes, Snape! Severus Snape to be exact and how convenient it is that today is his birthday... Happy Birthday Severus, my love! Hee Hee... you will all soon come to learn that Snape is not only my favorite character from the arry Potter books but that I am highly devoted to studying him... therefor making me the founder of Snapeism and honoring me Snapeist #1... heh heh!
