Match Report
SCCA vs PACC has been standard on a season opener for past two years where both teams have won game a piece. PACC had a lot to prove after a surprise exit last year. On a rainy day both teams were'nt sure if there will be a game but mother nature along with support from both umpires helped this game go along. Both teams played on with rain falling on and off.

PACC won the toss and elected to bat where Mansoor was on hat trick of centuries against SCCA. He started with the same intention while Waseem was caught napping by Sachin as he ran him out. Aqeel soon followed him with haroon and Mansoor to take the charge and entertain both teams with their stroke play. Mansoor decided to

give up at 77 and Haroon followed him after scoring brilliant 67 to bring Akbar and Nasir to make sure PACC get to 233.

SCCA was dented early on as Blessington tried to take a risky single and was guned down by Bilal. Ashok and ever dangerous Zeeshan carried on the torch until 12th over which looked an easy chase but Akbar intercepted SCCA's plan and put on superb efforts by removing 4 SCCA batsmen including over the hattrick and ball of the day to Sanjay. Just before it started raining for good by the 32nd over PACC had everything going its way 9 wickets and better run rate. It helped umpires to declare PACC the winner based on better run rate after SCCA's innings could not be completed due to rain. It was a team effort which earned PACC valuable 6 points and start the season with a win.

AKbar Qureshi was named man of the match for his 21 runs 1 catch and 4 blazing wickets.

PACC thanks Naveed for his continued support on and off the ground.

Lets go PACC and do it this year
