Report:
Record Breaking(144 run) opening partnership by
Waseem(60),Aqeel(64)& 4/12 bowling performance by Bilal set the stage for
Pacc as they get back on track with 67 run victory against Spcc
PACC was poised to get back on the ground after total collapse of the batting
order and some fishy decisons @COCC got them conquered. On a sunny morning
PACC's acting captain Nasir won the toss and refused to repeat earlier mistake
of putting opposition to bat with nice batting conditions. It proved to be the
right one as Aqeel and Waseem opened the innings for PACC with a fire. Both
played some delightful strokes all around the ground and just man handled SPCC's
bowling.Both scored record breaking 144 runs opening partnership when aqeel got
bold out by Kalyan in the 17th over.This brought Nasir(37) to the crease who
along with Shami hit tremendous shots over and above the boundary. Shami scored
unbeaten 42 with 25 in the last over alone when he scored hat trick of sixes
against Ravi. Kalyan(3/38) and Rajani(4/46) were the only successful bowlers for
SPCC.
SPCC's opening pair wanted to repeat the Aqeel and Waseem's performance and they
were able to take the score to 70's when waseem got Swarn on LBW and Shami got
jagi out who was on fire with his 44. Former PACC's player Baseer showed his
familiarity with PACC bowling scoring quick 47. Rest of the team got stumbled to
Bilal, waseem and Jani scoring total of 199 for 8 wickets.
PACC thanks Spcc for well played game and Umpires from DCC for their good
performance.
Once again it was team work but someone had to be "MOM"
Shami allrounded SPCC with his (42*),(6-19-1) & 2 catches
But co "MOM" are Aqeel and Waseem for their great batting.
