Report:
Due to rain Match started at 12:30. PACC won the toss and
elected to field due to the field conditions. RICC started their first league
game in a fashion with openers Abdul and Kader. Both gave a good start and did
not take any risks in the begining. PACC fielders dropped few catches only to
blame wet ground. Finally Maqbool got Abdul to be caught by Bilal at 2nd slip.
Only Abishik was able to give some trouble to PACC but he was ran out by
sizzling throw by Murtzaza to Imran while scoring 50. This turned around the
whole RICC inings and rest of the players were only managed to score 138 for all
out.
PACC's opening start was not a good one because Waseem was bowled in the 2nd
over by Abishik. Than Jansher and Imran played some good strokes and it looked
easeir to achieve the target but quick wickets of Imran, Jansher, mansoor and
Nasir put PACC in trouble. Bilal and Murtaza took the charge and were poised to
take their team to victory. They faced some excellent bowling of Abishik and
Ijaz and played defensively with few boundaries. At the score of 120 Bilal was
caught by Ijaz on a hook shot and brought some pleasures to RICC but Maqbool and
Murtaza had other plans so they played a good inning to put a finishing touch on
the opening game.
