By the southeastern coast, it is the second largest area of forest on the whole island. Though home also to elves and faes, you will find that the elves that inhabit this forest are different in appearance and attitude. Though welcoming, they are not known for their calm way of acting. These elves thrive on life. Music can be heard coming from this place at all time and always they are busy at their skill, the making of fine ivory dishes, combs, etc. Since they thrive on life they are also into defending against harm, but in a different way. They use magic, wards, and charms to do their fighting by helping to shield the island in a thick veil of mist so that nobody can see the island inside it.
Their Queen Valura Wilfloria runs things competently. With her sweet disposition and charming attitude, she supplies a refreshing attitude to the whole island. Her belief is to keep an eye on everyone, but to never let them know they are being watched. Standing at 6'2 she is slim and willowy. With her wild reddish-brown hair and emerald eyes, eyes that seem to look into your soul, she creates an imposing persona.
The Dramaine
Due to their mostly peaceful nature these elves trust a band of humans known as the Dramaine, whose ancestors swore fealty to protect these elves for eternity. They make their home in tents made of animal hides, their chiefs' tent being largest of all. As it goes, they make several different camps at the northern, southern, eastern, and western edges of the forest. Fierce fighters, they mostly dress in clothing made from animal hides or furs.
Their chief carries a thick wooden staff, blessed with magic by the elves they protect, and tied to the top is a deer skull...the horns making two sharp points that are great for fighting. Though they use many weapons, they are mostly known for their skill with knives or spears. Their current cheif is Chief Luxac Simndru,a man who stands at 6'3 and is muscular. He reminds most of a bear, gruff and growly, but sometimes soft and cuddly.
Mermaids
Here it is known for Mermaids to live freely. To be known freely. They are safe here, protected, and this is where they have it. Advice is even taken by Valuria from Jashakar.
Jakashar Oceania
As mystical as any mermaid she has this lovely glow about her. Yet, that may also be due to the babes she cradles as she sits on her rock at Mermaids Bay, living peacefully and contentedly. Long hair, wide eyes, and a sweet smile that draws one in.
