Mermaid Bay
A beautiful place, filled with the lovely lullaby and haunting melodies of the Mermaids. As they play on the rocks in the water, or splash about the largest rock formation in the center, one can sit on the shore and relax to the sounds. It's not even the loveliness of the moonlight reflecting on the water late in the night or the sunlight reflecting on the rippling blue during the day.
Yet, if any harm comes to a Mermaid the penalty is a harsh fine of 70 silver coins and if one is killed the penalty could be death. They are to be treated the same as the humans.
