Lesson#2:
Welcome to the most difficult and dangerous classes you will ever take. My class is solely for learning, and I will not tolerate any nonsense. Your first year you learn mainly switching spells. Switching spells are a classification of transfiguration spells which swap one thing for another. The switching spell is simple, but effective. The first switching spell was invented by Ugala Laron. My apologies if your assignments are a bit boring, but they are all necessary for the growth of your education. After we master the basics we will gradually start to increase the difficulty. Today’s objective is to transfigure an orange into an apple, but first we must learn the wand movement. Please take out your wand, and with a light grasp on it make an “L” shape in the air starting higher in the air, and working your way downward and to the right. While making the “L” in the air concentrate very hard on what you are doing. Imagine the orange transfiguring into an apple. Then while making the “L” in the air, say “Taolf saroac.” Remember to say the spell clearly, and strongly. If you do not than you most likely will perform a totally different spell.
