The Blacks In Government (BIG) Information Superhighway Student Competition provides students the chance to develop computer skills and demonstrate their expertise and creativity on the information superhighway. Students design Web Site presentations that show their knowledge of new technology. Listen Up!High school is a world of it's own. But, once you step outside of it-you join a much bigger universe. Your school may even prepare you for somewhat of your expectations. Still, are you a soothsayer or fortuneteller? Can you predict the future? What is always in front of you, but you cannot see it? Your future. Of course, you need computer skills. Of course, you need basic reading, writing, and math skills. You need to know a foreign language. It is your duty to have 'people skills,' too.
