Accio: The Summoning Charm

1. Accio is a summoning charm which enables a wizard to call anything to themselves, even if it is far away.

2. Causes an object to fly to the caster, even over quite some distance.

3. It is recommended that the caster know at least the general location of the object Summoned.

4. A summoning spell; with various amounts of power and skill, it can retrieve things from anywhere

A Latin word meaning "to summon", the Accio Charm can come in very handy if one has misplaced an object or is confined to an area in which the needed object is unavailable.
To correctly cast such a charm one is required to gently switch the wand in the direction of the Object (or in the case of the lost object the general direction ) and speak the Activating word, then the object one wishes to summon.

Examples:
A. "Accio Sweater"
B. "Accio Broom"
C. "Accio Keys"

The correct pronunciation of this Charm is: ah-SEE-oh

Homework: Practice! Also, a three paragraph parchment on what situation would cause you to summon something and why.
