Some time ago we decided to buy ourselves a little house in the country. We would use it as a holiday home for ourselves and our family for the next couple of years, and move there when I retire. We considered various locations. Some were too far away, some - including the entire UK - were too expensive. Then one day, idly flicking through the TV chanels, I came across a programme about an area of Spain I had never heard of, the "Picos de Europa". It all started there....
