*Introduction*

Twilight Inferno

In ancient times, on the planet of Myrim, the World was pure and good, and peace reigned throughout the land. People prospered and lived in harmony with one another; there was nothing to fear - except what lurked in the unknown. But all good things must come to an end, and end it did, when the fateful day finally arrived and disaster struck.

Shadow appeared on the horizon, and a strange spell was cast, covering the World in a veil of darkness and shadow. Slowly, this evil permeated the World, corrupting everything it touched.

The chaos that was created was manipulated by many. Humans became nothing more than toys, to be disposed of at will by the vampires. Within a just a few hundred years, the shadows ruled the World, and humans were dwindling in number as they were forced into slavery or into hiding. Despair took the place of the peace and happiness that had once filled people’s hearts, stripping them of hope.

But little did they know that there was a way to destroy the evil. There were a select few who had the ability to give their life energy, trapping the goddess who was behind the evil. Yet the question remained: Who were these chosen ones? And would they make it in time to save the World?

The year is 6009, and still they have not appeared. Is the World of Myrim doomed to be swallowed by the silence of evil?
