age: 24 occupation: Information/realistate broker, security system analist, hacker and general mischief maker 'real' occupation: Virtual Adept mage/Nephandi hunter/Anti-Reality U. President and Co-Founder.
After studying at MIT for 2 yrs,
and teaching classes by his second year, Walker starts to grow bored with
school, and delves even deeper into the hacker underground. He
happens upon a system he just can't crack, and being the true computer
freak he is, he spends countless days trying everything he can to get in,
but to no avail. In what seems like a moment of Zen for him, his
Avatar awakens, giving him the 'tools' to crack the system and find his
way into the world of the Virtual Adepts.

Amongst copious
amounts of first, second and third hand smoke,
Walker Stevens sits perched in his wheelchair, staring intently at a bank of monitors
and chain smoking well enough to put the industrial revolution to shame.
At the speed of thought, images and documents flash up on the monitors,
only to disappear just as quickly.
Walker was born in Boston, Mass.,
but only lived there for a short time before his parents uprooted and
moved to Chicago. At the age of 10, he was in a car accident with
his brother. He was the only one who survived the accident, but
leaving his legs so damaged, that he would spend the rest of his life in a
wheelchair. After graduating high school 2 years early, he was
accepted to MIT on a full ride scholarship, but this is where his life
takes a MAJOR turn...
From that point on, his life moves
rather quickly, picking up a few trusted friends (Dominic Chamberlain,
Thanos Poe, and Dr. Delilah Wylde) and his Mentor Chloe Millington, alias
Acid Burn. Things seem to rarely go well for him, Chloe being killed
by the Technocracy, his Cabal scattering to the four winds for a
time...but things are on the mend. Dom and Thanos have returned as
well as having someone very special walk into his life when he least
expected it. Are things on the up and up for our would be computer
hero? Only time will tell...
