A young woman sat in an empty office, head bent over a book on herbs. She took a sip of tea, sighed, and reached for a little hunk of chocolate before continuing her reading.
After a little while, she shut the book softly and set it aside. As she reached for another chocolate, she noticed you standing in the doorway. Oh crumpits, I'm sorry. I didn't see you standing there. My name's Sunny Daylee. I'm a professor here at Castell Seren-Ci. Have you been waiting long?
Have a seat, she said, indicating toward a soft, yet simple old chair. I'm sorry I can't offer you anything nicer. Since we're in exile, we don't have the leisure to just go out and buy a new one. But I suppose, since we're all witches and wizards, we can just transfigure it into something nicer. Unfortunately, we don't have the time.
Again she sighed and took a sip of tea. This castle's not in the best of shape. It's been abandoned for a long time, but it's the most secure place for a band of outlaws. We're not bad, though. And that's exactly why we had to hole up here.
I'm sorry I can't tell you all about what's happening or how we got to be where we are, but maybe these will help. Sunny set down two large dragon-hide bound books; one entitled The Hogwarts Saga and the other Castell Seren-Ci. The first is all about my year at Hogwarts. A lot of stuff may have happened then, but things were a lot simpler then.
I'm so sorry to have to do this, but I have to get going. Thanks for stopping by. If...you wanted to join us, you can apply to Headmaster Black here.
She cleared a few books off her desk as she stood up to shake your hand. Your eyes fell on a burgundy suade bound book entitled My thoughts and random ramblings. She noticed the direction of your gaze and quickly hid the volume. Clearing her throat, she extended her hand once more. I'm sorry I couldn't talk more, but thanks for dropping by anyway.
