Jujinka’s Spring Festival : 2002
By: Jetica

Spring 2002 and it was once again, time for Jujinka's Spring Festival! Flowers covered Meovanni Village in every place. Booths for flowers, trinkets, and kisses were erected throughout the map. Maypole dancers came out in droves. Spring was in the air!

(Festival Day Begins.)

Participants in the festival enjoyed wonderful patchwork by the Pixels, as well as guides and information from the Scribes. Most just enjoyed the activities that took place. Such as:
Maypole dancing.
Butterfly Beauty Pageant.
Separately initiated stage performances.
Festivalgoers enjoyed all of these activities and more.

(Maypole Dancers.)

The most talked about activity was the Medieval Game Dream contest. Participants were invited to create a game, ride, or challenge dreams with the primary theme focusing on medieval activities. The dreams were then judged on DragonSpeak (dream coding) content, user-friendliness, and quality of design, patches, and theme. In the end the winner of the contest was Ellodie’s, whose dream was also the best researched, time-devoted, original, and accurate.

The success of the festival has lead it to become one of the most colorful festivals of the year. For some springtime does not come fast enough…
