My first one! Here's a picture of a real nice Calalina Goat I harvested in California with my bow. This was what I got for finishing high school!

These are pictures of a bear I took in New Mexico. I got him with a 264 win mag. We were driving up to meet some other guys and hunt with them. They saw the bear the night before feeding a calf. so we went there and let the dogs go and they ran him for about 3 miles. He would not tree so they turned two more dogs out. One of the dogs that got turned out was a really mean one and the bear treed after that.

It was a little less then a mile walk to the tree. The last part was pretty steep. Going in to the tree was awsome. Out of all the animals in the world there is nothing I wanted more then a bear, so going in was a lot of fun. To see the bear was great. I got ready, and they got the dogs tired up, then told me to take him.

The first shot was right on. I hit him in the shoulder, and that got him. I had another shot ready by the time he hit the ground and gave him another just in case. The second shot was a good one just a couple inchs from the first one. I wish I could say it was skill but I think luck paid a big part in it. Then pictures and skinning it out. My guide carried the skin and the head back to the truck but I got to for the last 1/4 mile to help out. The thing was really heavy i would say 65-70 pounds just the hide and head.
