This site is dedicated to the Tolkien fandom. You'll find alot about Tolkien's work here, with a special concentration in the areas concerning Middle Earth and more specifically, The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Our near-future plans include:
- An in depth exploration of the art of the Elvish language. We'll provide pronounciation guides, dictionaries, phrases, refrences, links, and other aids to help you improve your skills in the Elvish tongue.
- Background information about Tolkien's work. We plan to have summaries of all his major works, tables, and charts to give you exposition of characters and places.
- Role Playing. You'll be able to create or further develop your Lord of the Rings Role Playing character with the help of our character description criteria. You can submit your characters to our staff and be involved in group fan fictions and Role Playing chats.
- Fan work. This section will include fiction and artwork celebrating or expanding on the amazing world and characters Tolkien has already given us. Submission requirements and editing will be explained in detail.
- Movie adaptions. We plan to provide the best pictures of the movie versions of Tolkien's Lord of the Rings trilogy. This will include on and off-set pictures of the actors (our favorite little hobbits and of course pretty elf boy), and stills from the movies. We'll also give frequent news updates. Look for interesting information and fine criticism of what director Peter Jackson could have done differently. We have a long list of amusing errors in the movies.
- Links. Our list of links gives you direct access to some of the best (hand picked by our staff) Tolkien fan sites on the web. The content of these sites range from information about Tolkien himself, to all-about-the-movies, to intellectual discussions, to meaningless rabid-fan-girls-stalking-Orli sites.
