There are unlimited uses for spreadsheets today. There is every reason you should feel comfortable with the tools and menus provided in a program. Come, follow along, this quest will show you that the possibilities are endless. We will begin with a little tour.

In fact, some would say that this is in fact the problem with spread sheets! It is just too easy to toss together a new numbers report without having to think about the big picture.		 Do you ever wonder how some teachers can get their students on task and focused with miminal coaxing?  Give them a choice of what they can choose to make .just too easy

 
TASKS
  •  Create a new Excel sheet for a daily, weekly or monthly schedule. 
  •  Using the pulldown menu select File then New and an untitled page will popup. 
  •  Select Save As... this is where you give your project a name that will end with .xlr

Remember that this is an Excel program and you are setting the preferences of the format to comform to your particular needs.  As you become more familiar with the worksheet you will be able to create and print schedules with the ease of a professional.
