Age of Exploration

This web site focuses on the period from  1400 to 1600.  This is known as the Age of Exploration when the European explorers set out to see the world.  This site explains the accomplishments of some of the most famous European explorers, and how new lands were discovered.  This site will also talk a little bit on ships and how they were made for the sea.
