GITES

Our properties have been restored to a very high standard to highlight the traditional features of each and allow our guests to have the modern conveniences they expect.

The Stables and Tackroom (sleeps 2)

These are two one-bedroom gites created from the original stables. Each gite has a living/kitchen area with an oven and two burner gas hob, fridge with freezer compartment and dining table and chairs. There is a sofa and chairs with TV/DVD/CD player (French channels only). Leading off the living/kitchen area is the bedroom with hanging space for clothes and an American king-size bed. The en-suite comprises walk-in shower, toilet and wash-hand basin. Both have patio doors out to the garden with their own table, chairs and parasol.

The Grainstore (sleeps 4)

This gite was where the flour and grain were stored. It opens into a large comfortable living area with sofa, chairs and satellite TV with BBC channels on one side and a large well-equipped kitchen with oven/hob, dishwasher and fridgefreezer at the other. A polished french oak staircase leads to the second floor. There are 2 large bedrooms upstairs with zip and link king beds/two singles which enjoy lovely views over the river to the open fields beyond. Also upstairs is a modern shower room with natural light, wc, wash-hand basin and extra large shower unit.

This gite has a separate south-facing patio with a wooden table, chairs and parasol that looks over the garden to the waterfall and potager.

The Millhouse (sleeps 6)

This gite was the original house of the millowners. It has 3 bedrooms. On the ground floor is a large, light and airy open plan lounge with comfortable corner sofa and original stone fireplace. The satellite TV has BBC channels and radio. A separate kitchen area is off the lounge which has oven/hob, dishwasher and fridgefreezer. Accessed via a short corridor off the living room is a separate bedroom with zip and link American king-size bed/two singles, separate wc, and shower room with wash-hand basin. A french oak polished staircase leads upstairs to two large bedrooms with velux windows fitted with blackout blinds. They each have zip and link king bed/two singles. There is a large, bright shower room with extra large modern shower unit and wash-hand basin, and a separate wc. Patio doors lead out to a table and chairs with parasol and separate pergola with sofa and chairs in the garden.
