Moulin de Maulne is an old watermill dating back to the mid 1840s that originally provided the flour for the local area of Lublé.

It has a fantastic location in the heart of the Loire valley, close to the A28 autoroute for quick and easy access from the coast, yet deep within the French countryside.

It is situated in 30 acres of rolling countryside with uninterrupted views in all directions and its own gently flowing, shallow river, the Maulne.

We are keen gardeners and we have designed and planted 6 acres with plants, lawn and trees for you to use and explore.

Our nearest town, Château La Vallière is only 3 km away and has a bakery, modern supermarket, petrol station, butcher and chemist. It also holds a local market on Monday morning. We are 30 mins drive from both the historic towns of Tours and Saumur and less than an hour from Angers.

There are also many paths and quiet lanes for you to explore on bicycle or foot.

The design of the 12m heated pool provides a fantastic, secluded place to relax and is gently sloping with steps running the full width at the shallow end making it safe for children and non-swimmers.

All our beds are new, super-king size (2 x 2m) with a pocket-sprung mattress. We provide 4 pillows, hollow-fibre duvet, quilted 'topper' and crisp, laundered, 100% cotton sheets to guarantee you restful sleep.
