My Life In Hawaii

I have been living in Hawaii for four months.

I would like to share two of my very favorite things I enjoy in Hawaii!

Hawaiian Quilt

Rock Climbing

I have been learning the art of Hawaiian Quilt from Master quilter, John Serao, since April 2002.  It has been extremely pleasant for me to learn the skills and technique.  Coming back to Hawaii in order to attend Hawaii Pacific University Dec. 18 2002, I was very excited about attending Hawaiian quilt classes.  However, life is not that easy, and I do not have much time to improve many skills creating Hawaiian quilts due to exams, homework, and project like this!  I enjoy learning everything in Hawaii, though.

I spend my weekends in Mokuleia, Oahu.  It is a special and beautiful place to visit.  I am attracted by rock climbing because I enjoy the feeling of overcoming the challenge and reaching the top!  Even hiking up to the climbing walls is excellent.  Breathtaking views, cheerful people, and great nature heal your heart completely.

I recommend that you take classes for safety and to learn climbing skills.  After taking the classes you will feel comfortable and gain confidence to begin climbing.
