THE SCOOP
- Mike Ackart - After recording 'MirrorEyes', me and Jester went back and did another Urizen record that will be coming out soon. We had to choose. Either do Dead City or do Urizen. As a songwriter, Dead City brought me the the capability to write sorrowfull and personal songs. As a guitarist, Urizen was my sanctuary. I cant do both, I just cant. I wish best of luck to Darris and Chris. The 2 albums and 2 ep's I did with DCM were some of my best song writing to date. The best is yet to come from both parties."
- Darris G - 'Mike brought alot to this band. He is a true gem of talent and he will be missed. Im sad and somewhat angry that he is leaving, but nonetheless, we have to look at this as a pro point of view. DCM will continue in moments, I assure you That. As For Jester, well, he was a perctionist of a drummer, and I know his talent will be used to the best extent elsewhere. Its sad that they are gone, after we were begining to get noticed in the music world. To Mike, fame never mattered, and I respect that. It was an odd carrer move, but none the less a move.Take care guys
- Fantoft - Me and Mike have been friends for awhile and he always has something up his sleeves. Thats what I love about him. We will continue to create great music as im sure he will also
- Jester - Urizen was always my home. DCM was my stroll through the park, I got lost, had fun, made friends, but now its getting late and its time to go home."
