Hey everyone, my name is Cindy and I am the webmistress and founder of marauders-map.org. On July 22nd I will officially be 20 years old. It just goes to show you you are never too old for Harry Potter. I fell in love with HP after being dragged by a friend to go and see the first movie. I admit, before then I was an HP hater, and made fun of everyone who liked it. But now I am a believer!

Presently I am a student at a university in the state of Utah even though I grew up in upstate New York. I study International Political Science, which keeps me busy needless to say. Luckly I have two awesome guys on here to help me out when I get bogged down with work, etc.

My favorite HP characters are as follows: Harry himself, Draco Malfoy, and Oliver Wood. They're my favorites because they seem to compile all of my personality traits and make up who I am. I like Harry because the 5th book has really given him some depth. I was quite pleased with how JK showed his internal struggle with guilt, depression, etc. because that is how I wrote him in my FF, Harry Potter and Understanding the Past. Draco Malfoy is of particular interest to me because he is the sarcastic bad boy that gets followed around wherever he goes. When I was younger that was what my life was like, though I still am sarcastic and witty to this day. Finally, Oliver Wood is up there too because, number one, he's hot in the movies. Number two, he works really hard a the one thing he loves, he's obsessive you might say.

Well, first of all, thank you for visiting the site! We've been working hard for the past few months to get it up and running so people like you can come and find all the answers to every question you've ever had to Harry Potter!

I am, as you may have guessed from my colors, a Gryffindor all the way. I've been sorted to Gryffindor on many different sites, including the HP official site and polyjuice.net. I first saw Harry Potter on the Rosie O'Donnel show. (Well, my mom saw it and told me to come watch! lol) Anyway, at that time, there were only 3 of the 5 books currently out published. I thought it was just one of those books like other novels that are really just nothing. But then I got them for Christmas that year and I really REALLY liked them. So that's how I got into Harry Potter.

I think the movies are great but some of the cuts they make I need to argue with. Such as the fire chamber in the first movie. But oh well! They're still awesome.

I am 14 and currently live in MA. I've lived here all my life. I recently graduated from St. Joseph School, Wakefield which I had attended for 10 years. (PK-8) I received Honorable Mention for the year, School Choir, Altar Server, and School Spirit awards. I could hardly sit down at the ceremony!

I LOVE music. I play piano, piccolo, flute, and recorder. I am going to play piccolo in WHS's marching band, piano in their Jazz Band, and flute in their concert band. I'll also be going to BAND CAMP ("One time, at band camp...!" for those of you who have seen American Pie) in August.
