Family: She has one brother, who is approximately 5 years older then her. He, too, had been interested in magic, but applied to a different school, the name of which she can’t recall right now. Her brother is perhaps her closest relative, and he is constantly looking out for her. Since he caught word that his little sister was going to go to an entirely different school, he about fainted. However, he has slightly become accustomed to the arrangement. But, despite the vast lands that separate the both of them, he constantly has been sending her letters and making sure all is right with her. Alhana never had much of a connection with her parents, possibly because of the great relationship she had with her brother. Despite this, they are still her parents, and they look out for her as best as they can. Personality: She is a rather proud person, for an 11-year-old, and sometimes comes off as snobby, when in fact, she isn’t. Even though she knows this, people that meet her get that impression, therefore inhibiting her friend making skills. She is rather articulate, although she prefers not to show it. She has a hard time trusting people, probably because of the lack of friends that she has had in her years of being. She dislikes compliments, too. This is so because of her sarcastic nature. That is, every time someone compliments her, she thinks that they, too, are being sarcastic, and gets offended. In spite of her easily offendedness, she rarely shows any emotion. Her eyes are usually the only part of her that shows what she is feeling, and sometimes they don’t even do that. |
Physical Description: She stands at about 5’4, but wishes she were taller, even though she knows her growth spurt hasn’t occurred yet. Her head is adorned with black hair, black and soft as the night wind, as her brother had said. Her skin is pale, almost illuminating, as if the moon’s rays were always upon her. Alhana’s eyes are gray, sometimes described as the color of slate. However, dark specks of purple are sometimes seen when looked at closely enough. Usually only Alhana herself saw the color floating in such a dismal abyss that is gray. In contrast to her paler than pale skin, her lips are a deep red color. Her mother had always said she was an odd looking girl, but that she would grow into her own skin eventually. She regretted her mother very harshly for that remark, and it was after that that she realized people looking at her oddly when she walked with her mother at the store. Favorite Food: Any type of fruit, except pineapples and pears. She can usually be found clad in: Her muggle clothes. Most likely her favorite pair of black jeans that are ripped at the bottom. She also always wears her cloak. That is, unless it is hotter than hot outside. Pets: She has one cat, named Cam'wethrin. Cam'wethrin is an Elven word meaning 'thief.' Alhana decided that she had named her cat accurately, because Cam'wethrin is always found stealing people's food, as well as various other items of interest. The cat is very petite, and has looked like a kitten for all 4 years of its existence. It is adorned with black fur, which matches the color of Alhana's hair exactly. Cam'wethrin's large green eyes are usually found surveying passing spiders (which she has quite a interest in). Other: Alhana tends not to talk to new people, but she is rather chatty when she feels like it. The only thing that Alhana understands is that she is not normal, like the people she talked to in the Muggle World, which is exactly why she applied to a Wizarding school. She is also a bookworm, and tends to prefer her books to any human contact. She is usually found up late at night reading. She runs on barely no sleep, and has found that she is happier at night then in the day. |
