How do we start?

I have loved the outdoors most of my life. I have hiked and backpacked the mountains in Montana and Canada, I have fished and hunted in Montana, as well in  Kentucky. I have deep sea fished in the Gulf and Atlantic. I don't hunt anymore but still fish a little. I like the family time! I'm just a simple person, not too complicated.....just me!

I have taken numerous vacations to the ocean, so I do love the beach and water! Panama City has been my favorite, white beaches and quiet (on the west end), I love the walks early morning and late evening on the sand!

Love my boys very much, They are young men now so I do give them their space and I'm getting close to the end of parenting for this stage of their lives. I do have time for myself as they start to get very independent!

I was real active in the youth sports program. I coached just about all the youth sports available for nearly 8 yrs. I have since redirected my focus to boy scouts as a leader (gives me a chance to still enjoy my outdoor love).

As for my appearance......being honest and up front....I don't think I look bad for 53, might need to be tweaked a little, like lose a few pounds, I guess we all can say that! I do work out and am a member of a health club,
I try and go 3 times a week and I treat myself to the hot tub at the club after a good workout!

Like I said, I like the outdoors and I get my time  working with the scouts. I do hike a lot, mostly by myself....hard to find anyone to to come along and enjoy a lil outdoors. I have another side that isn't all outdoors - I try and do the "Arts" thing, not very good at it, need someone to teach me about all that!

.....I say chivalry isn't dead, I try to keep the tradition alive!.....I am a big softy and I do have emotions (am I suppose to say that!)
I like the quiet times, the sound of the surf, the early morning sunrises, sunsets!
When camping, the crackle of the fire, the quiet the woods offer, listen to nature! Just paradise!

My music taste are pretty universal......except rap, which I don't call music. But if I was to pin it down to what is my favorite, also tough......but in no such order, Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, Eagles, ZZ Topp, Fleetwood Mac, Yanni, Glenn Frey... a lot of the old stuff, some country and some of the new groups and individuals, I'm not good on names of songs or group.

I do enjoy music, I just kick back and mellow out....kinda recharges the system.
