~*~html tuts~*~

Here are a few sites to help get you started on creating your very own website.  Keep in mind that these are just guide lines to help you get started but also in the process you will learn what codes work well with others and the do's and don'ts of HTML.  I know that most of you are probably thinking...OH NO CODES!! LOL no worries I did the same thing when I first thought about creating my own site.  The key is to NOT panic and take your time and read carefully.  But all in all I think that if you are REALLY interested in learning HTML and a few other neat little codes you will do just fine.  To learn HTML takes A LOT of patience and time.  To create a website takes a lot of time, especially if you want it to be perfect.

And for those of you that use Front Page 2000 or another HTML editor...TRUST ME there are several little codes in these tutorial links that come in VERY handy.  How else could I do I-Frames? LOL

Okay on with the tutorials.  Good Luck and most of all Have Fun!!  But remember to show off your beautiful site when you get it finished ;)

Just a few sites to help get you started on the road to HTML.

Lisa Explains IT All
(This site is actually for kids but adults can use it as well, ESPECIALLY if you are a beginner and just starting out.)

HTML Basix
(This site is a MUST if you are a beginner...granted Lisa has a few things BUT this site breaks it down as to why and what each code does.)

Boogie Jacks
(This site is awesome for beginners as well for the advance users.  And don't forget to join his newsletter and find out what is new in the HTML world.)

Okay now for the sites that have all the fun codes...LOL

Dynamic Drive DHTML
(Pretty much what it says...it teaches not only HTML but DHTML as well...it's a little advance but you can learn a few codes that will do some neat tricks for your site.)

Webmoments
(This is a fun site to learn Java Applets and other goodies for your site.)

This site pretty much has it all...well sort of.

Webmonkey
(Honestly I don't recommend this site to beginners BUT they do have a nice glossary and if you need to know something extra then yes by all means go to this site.  This site pretty much has it all,  Java Script, HTML, Special Characters, Color Codes, Browser Charts, Style Sheets, a Unix Guide, and TONS more.)
