I am a 28 year-old woman who loves to read and write. I especially like reading material that makes me observe or consider the world around me in new ways.
I joined the US Army Reserves after Sept. 11th. I enlisted to be a nurse so that I could help those who might get injured. Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity serve as I wished. I was injured during training and sent home to my unit. Nearly two years later, my injury has yet to heal and I am awaiting discharge.
For now I hope to serve our country in other ways. As you look through this site you will find: links to veterans services and organizations, links to my writings, probably a few opinionated commentaries later on, and some fun stuff.
