Oh, my! What greatness! This is the episode that begins with Shawn and Corey presenting their geography project. T'was funny, and they do "horribly." Anyhow, Mr. Feeny decides to let them do it over again with different partners. However, HE chooses who works with who. In this case, Corey is paired up with Topanga. Topanga and Corey have VERY different ideas as to what to do for this project. Anyway, Corey decides to straighten his hair. He leaves the formula in too long... and well... become... a "freak." His friends begin to make fun of him, and Corey begins sitting with "the geeks." After helping "the geeks" with a petition, Topanga throws Corey against the locker, and gives him his first kiss. Corey eventually goes back to his old group of friends, and all is well.

Oh! How I love this episode! First memorable moment is when Morgan asks her mom about putting her Barbie doll in the microwave to keep her warm, and Amy tells her that that would be a mistake. I love it how she says, "Then, mommy, I made a mistake." The lovely red cap is also in this, and when Corey's hair is shaped like the cap... oh it cracks me up EVERYTIME. I love how Topanga's makeup all over her face stunt [her idea for the erg.. project] is later referenced in another episode; she does it when they are older, and Shawn comes in and says the SAME line he said in this episode ["Use a mirror, babe]. I love love LOVE how Topanga acts all strange like, and yes, this is one of the great episodes. The only thing that bothers me, though, is the fact that in this episode, Shawn has a sister by the name of Stacy. This "Stacy" character he speaks of is NEVER mentioned again. Same with a brother [not Jack] in a future episode. Sigh. Shawn's family. So confusing. I give it four out of five stars.
