Something Here
In my desperate search for some spiffy retro clipart, I discovered a lot of beautiful photos. This (a sugar rose) blue rose really captured my attention and seemed like a perfect candidate to test out the new layout-style I found at In A Mood. The "Beginnings" look inspired me to see what I could do with these beautiful photos. So full credit goes to the wonderful designer(s) there. The CSS style code was written by Trish from In A Mood, I only edited it for my purposes. Hopefully, this doesn't break the rules of the TOS. I learn by 'view sourcing' and studying the code to create my own.
I've only tested the layout on IE 6, at 1152x864, 1024x768 and 800x600. The only problem I see is that at 800x600, you can barely see enough of the photo to see that its a rose. Still, it works.
This was intended to be a Blog/Log/Journal style layout, but it would work just as well for a simple homepage as there is ample room for links and navigation down the right side!
I am only familiar with Blogger, but there are several other programs out there such as Greymatter and Movable Type. Because I do understand the blogger code (and because Trish's original template was so easy to follow), included in the zip is the template that you will just copy/paste into Blogger's template box.
And a final note, if you decide to use this layout, you must link back to me on the page you use the layout. For your convienance, I have already added my link to the layout, so to comply with the rules, simply leave it where it is :) I've also included a link to In A Mood, so you can check out their layouts and 'log looks' which are infinately better than mine!
Thanks for downloading this layout from As Yet, Unknown. ~Josie
