~About Benjamin Arthur~

For contact information, click here.

Benjamin Arthur was born in San Francisco a while back. Early on he drew pictures as a way to pass the time between cartoons on TV on saturday morning. His parents said "boy, thats a good drawing!" Thus bolstered, he dedicated the rest of his life to drawing.

FLASH FORWARD 15 YEARS

Ben is drawing cartoons for the magazine "Living Nutrition" and is using his graphic arts knowlege to create posters and leaflets for local stage productions. Then he got a full time job at a video store, then another part-time job at a pizza shop (next door to the video store) he worked feverishly and was promoted at both places, then, suddenly, out of the blue, both stores go out of buisness within a month of each other.

BEN MOPES AROUND THE HOUSE

Ben realizes he would rather go to college than back to another counter job, so he signs up at the local college, planning on getting a bachelor's in graphic arts. During this time Ben becomes very creative at home, moving in directions he had not gone before, such as animation, drawn and computer, comics, filming his own movies, writing stories, making a webpage (almost done now) He writes several children's stories for his 6 year old brother Julian and uses him in his "Super Julian" movies. He watches many, many movies. He collaborates with a poet to write a comic adaptation for use in a book.

BUSY BUSY BUSY

Ben enjoys his wild forays into these mediums, but wishes that he could get a job doing this, perhaps an internship or freelance, or even full time. He searches the web for jobs. Ben has many years of experience with Photoshop, Bryce, Golive, and some experience with Illustrator, Quark Express, and getting images ready for print. He is a hard worker, learns very quickly, and can take direction. Ben created this whole website single-handedly.
