Brecon

The River Neath(Afan Nedd) rises in the Brecon Beacons National Park between Fan Gyhirych and Fan Nedd.
To reach Pen y Fan, the highest point on the Beacons, follow the A465 toward Merthyr Tydfil, then at Hirwaun, take the A4059 and head to Penderyn, then on over the mountain to join the A470 to Brecon.
