Teaching Tolerance, Advancing Society

My name is Joseph Pasquale. I'm a freshmen Political Science major at the University of Rhode Island. I am from Rockaway, New Jersey, which is roughly 45 minutes outside of New York City. I have had an interest in global events for some time now, and as such I believe that tolerance education is essential for the advancement of humanity. The practice of teaching children from a young age to not dislike someone simply because they are different is one that cannot fail. With it, the expansion and success of the human race will be able to advance into the future, and its rate will increase. It will do its part at reducing hate and conflict, moving closer to the goal of world peace. I hope you will take my views into consideration when you are forming your own.
