22. John Macdonald was born on 9 Apr 1864 in Harlosh, Skye, Scotland. He died on 30 Nov 1956 in Caroy, Skye, Scotland. Known as John of Caroy - fought in the Boer War.

John Macdonald and Marjory Cameron were married on 17 Jun 1890 in Glasgow. Marjory Cameron (daughter of Duncan Cameron and Marjory McDiarmid) was born in 1871 in Foss, Perthshire. She died of general tuberculosis on 21 Apr 1912 in Laurieston, Falkirk. John Macdonald and Marjory Cameron had the following children:
