16. Ann Macdonald was born in 1852 in Skye, Scotland. In 1901 she was a serving maid (husband Archy dead by 1901 census) in Duirinish, Isle of Skye, Scotland. She died of cerebral thrombosis & arterial sclerosis on 3 May 1950 in Lonemore, Skye, Scotland. They lived at the old school house, Lonemore, Dunvegan.

Archy was a gamekeeper and he & Ann were living with John & Effy during the 1881 census.

By the 1901 census Archy was dead.

The 1901 census shows that a boarder Effie Shaw, an accountant, was living with the family

Ann Macdonald and Archibald (Archy) Matheson were married on 13 Dec 1880 in Lonemore, Skye, Scotland. Archibald (Archy) Matheson (son of Charles Matheson and Catherine Cameron) was born in 1850. In 1881 he was a gamekeeper in Duirinish, Isle of Skye, Scotland. He died in 1895 in Lonemore, Skye, Scotland. Ann Macdonald and Archibald (Archy) Matheson had the following children:
