5. Hugh Macdonald was born on 1 May 1822 in Bracadale, Skye. He died on 27 Oct 1903 in Struanmore, Isle of Skye, Scotland.

Hugh Macdonald and Flora MacLeod were married on 23 Jun 1845. Flora MacLeod (daughter of Alexander MacLeod and Marion Macrae) was born in 1824 in Skye, Scotland. She died of old age on 1 Jun 1909 in Duirinish, Isle of Skye, Scotland. Hugh Macdonald and Flora MacLeod had the following children:
