6. John Macdonald was born on 20 Jan 1825 in Gearymore, Isle of Skye, Scotland. He was christened on 30 Jul 1843 in Skye. He died of chronic bronchitis and senile decay on 11 Feb 1915 in Roskhill, Isle of Skye, Scotland. He was a master tailor. John sold Singer sewing machines off the back of a cart. He taught all his sons tailoring and also worked on the croft.

Euphemia (Effy) MacPhee (daughter of Donald MacPhee and Janet (Jessie) McLean) was born in 1832 in Isle of Skye. In 1851 she was a waitress in an inn (Inn-Keeper - George Pack) in Dunvegan, Skye, Scotland. She died of asthma & bronchitis on 26 Jan 1891 in Isle of Skye.
